That Sewing Blab’s Sewing Book Review Show
As readers of this blog will know I co-host an internet sewing show called That Sewing Blab every Tuesday night at 7:30 pm EST with my co-host Alethia Hudson @sewmuchtalent. We are blessed to be able to interview fabulous people who love to sew on our show. You can watch previous shows on our Crowdcast page or on the Duelling Designs YouTube channel. For the most up to date information on That Sewing Blab, please visit our That Sewing Blab Facebook Page.
In episode 44 we did something we have never done before on That Sewing Blab. We reviewed our favourite sewing books. We invited viewers to come on screen and tell us about their favourite books. We were lucky to have some of the most talented sewist and bloggers I know come on the show to talk about their favourite books (all guests are mentioned below). I am a bit of a book hoarder but was surprised to find some books I had never heard of before.
Warning! Enabler Alert!
Do not say I didn’t warn you. Watching this episode of That Sewing Blab may cause you to feel the urge to surf on-line bookstores (we mention a few good ones during the show) searching for amazing books to support your sewing habit. Just saying, you were warned. Luckily my husband supports my habit.

Great post Dawn! That episode was definitely a fun filled time and very informative as well! I’m anyone who replays will find a resource they don’t have and want to get! Thanks again for the wonderful platform to have fun and learn!
Myra,
Thanks, I agree it was a wonderful show. It was great to get book recommendations from people who I respect. I have to admit I bought two of the books mentioned and have the draping book you mentioned on my wish list. Thanks for being such a huge supporter of That Sewing Blab and for commenting here on my blog.
